We are the "data controller" responsible for your personal data under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What data we collect
Information you give us
When you submit an enquiry through one of our contact forms, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company name (optional)
- Details of your project, budget, goals or any other information you choose to share in the message field
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website we may automatically collect:
- Your IP address and approximate location
- Browser type, device type and operating system
- The pages you visit, time on site, and how you arrived
- Referring website or search query
This is collected via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager - but only after you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner.

4. Who we share data with
We don't sell or rent your data - full stop. We do use a small number of trusted third-party processors to actually run the site:
- Web3Forms - processes form submissions and forwards them to our inbox. Their privacy policy.
- Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager - anonymised analytics about how the site is used. Google's privacy policy.
- CookieYes - manages your cookie preferences. Their privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider and email provider - to store and deliver communications.
We may also share data where legally required (e.g. court order, fraud prevention, regulators).
5. Cookies
We use cookies to make the site work and to understand how it's being used. The first time you visit, you'll see a cookie banner where you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie icon on the page.
- Strictly necessary - required for the site to function. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics - Google Analytics. Only set if you've consented.
- Functional - remembers your preferences (like cookie consent itself).
6. How long we keep your data
- Enquiry data - up to 24 months from your last contact, unless you become a client (in which case we keep it for the duration of the working relationship plus 6 years for tax purposes).
- Analytics data - anonymised and retained per Google Analytics' default settings (14 months).
- Client project files - kept securely for the duration of the engagement plus 6 years.
7. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to how we use your data
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the legal basis)

8. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data - including HTTPS encryption on the website, secure access controls, and trusted third-party processors. No system is 100% secure, but we don't store anything we don't need to, and we won't pass your data to anyone we wouldn't trust ourselves.
9. International transfers
Some of our processors (e.g. Google) are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, it's protected by appropriate safeguards including the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent.
10. Children
Our services are aimed at businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first - we'd rather sort it directly. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator:

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last modified" date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
